The pediatrician said the pacifiers have to go. Must go. Now. The pacifier is affecting their bite and jaw development.
Deep breath. Okay...here we go again...
Last night was the first night without the binkies and they did great. They slept through the night and were each rewarded with a new dress. Beautiful!
Today was not quite as smooth. Lots of crying. LOTS of crying.
But they took their nap.
We'll see how tonight goes...

Not being a mom this may not even work but how about substituting a binkie with a favorie and beloved stuffed toy? I still have my "bunny" that I got when I was three. Good luck.
so sorry. i am dreading the binky-bye-bye day in this home.
Ahhh - Andrew was my hardest to get off the "plug" as we called it (kinda sad huh?) But I took him to the mall and he threw it in the trash there and he got to pick out a toy. But it did take a couple of nights of crying because they have to learn how to fall asleep all over again!! But it will pass my friend!!! Hang tight!!! XOXO
