The Central Coast

is truly our getaway.

I first spent time there with Matt on our one-year anniversary. It was lovely. I wanted to go back every year. And we have-sometimes more than once a year.

I love the cooler weather, the rocky beaches, the rollings hills and japanese pine trees, the delicious restaurants, and having my sister's family there.
I can't wait to go back!
Oh, and yes, my girl's wearing her leotard to the beach. That's what she wanted to wear. So I thought, "Why not?"

I must admit, I was wondering why she was wearing a leotard. Then I thought, "Oh, she's four." and that settled it in my mind. When you are four you can wear a leotard for a day and no one minds.

You are an awesome photographer! I think I need a trip to the central coast. It looks lovely and I haven't been in years. Hmmmmmmmmmmm...sounds like a roadtrip to me.

Being the mom of three girls, the leotard never even crossed my mind as inappropriate. What other time in your life can you get away with living out exactly who you want to be each and every day. Ballarina one day, fairy princess another, pet cat the next. I say "go for it".

It's not worth the fight sometimes over clothes, is it?

I LOVE that area as well. My best friend lives down there and it just really feels like a vacation when you're there. Beautiful!

soooo nice up there! love the leotard I echo Jill.. its important to express your mood in your dress... sometimes a UCLA cheerleader, but the best part is that a crown goes with everything!!!

I could go for the cooler weather. I might even wear a leotard. I'm so hot, I'm losing my mind.
