It's NOT okay to throw your gum on the ground when you are done chewing it. Why do people do this? It's NOT okay.
If a mouse was walking backwards, he might step in something sticky. He would wonder what it was. It would be sticky gum.
Poor little mouse. That's why gum goes in the trash.

AMEN! I was at the zoo last week and saw a girl, probably about 7, take her gum out of her mouth and just throw it on the ground. I couldn't believe it! I really wanted to say something but I held back.

Wow, I never thought of that reason. Cutie has really given me something to think about....I just didn't throw my gum on the ground because "I" didn't want to step in it. :) I guess that was a bit selfish of me.....I'll think of the mouse the next time. ;)
